The Cordyceps group improved on two markers of aerobic capacity, metabolic threshold and ventilatory threshold. The placebo group did not.

Single doses of Panax ginseng (G115) reduce blood glucose levels and improve cognitive performance during sustained mental activity
Reay, Kennedy and Scholey, Journal of Psychopharmacology, 2005
